Virtual inspections
In a virtual inspection you use VuSpex to connect to the phone of a contractor at the site. VuSpex uses the camera on the contractor’s phone to show you the site. You can then tell the contractor where to go and where to point the camera so that you can conduct the inspection. You can take screen shots and video of the inspection and VuSpex will automatically attach that media to the inspection.
The default label on the button that opens VuSpex is , but it can be customized for your agency.
When you click the button, VuSpex opens in a separate browser window with the current inspection information passed in from Infor Public Sector. To begin the inspection, you select the on-site contractor and click . An SMS message is then sent to the contractor's device, with a link that the contractor can tap to connect to VuSpex.
