Waiving fees (Non-Billing)

You can use the Application InfoViewer to waive any unpaid fees that are charged to an application. When you waive a fee, Infor Public Sector removes the charges from the total amount owed on the application and gives the fee a Waived status. You can also hide a waived fee, meaning that it won't be visible in the InfoViewer and it won't be included in any fee balances.

  1. Load the application you want in the Application InfoViewer.
  2. Select the Fees tab and the Fees subtab.
  3. Click the Waive Fees link above the All Fees grid.
  4. Select the fees that you want to waive in the Waivable Fees grid.
    You can select one or more fees in the grid by clicking each fee you want to waive. Depending on your agency's policies, certain fees may not be waivable. Infor Public Sector only shows unpaid fees that can be waived.
  5. Select the Hide in application check box if you don't want to show the fee after it is waived.
  6. Click Waive.
    Infor Public Sector waives the fees, removes them from the fee balance, and generates adjustment transactions as needed.
