Creating a reconcile run

This topic explains how to create a reconcile run manually. You can alo schedule reconcile runs in the Batch Manager. See "Reconcile Run" in the Infor Public Sector Batch Processing Administration Guide.

  1. Select Billing > Transactions > Create Reconcile Run.
  2. Specify this information:
    Account Type
Optionally, specify the type of account that you want to reconcile.
    From Account #
Specify the first account number in the range that you want to reconcile.
    To Account #
Specify the last account number in the range that you want to reconcile.

The account numbers that you specify indicate the range of accounts in sequential order that will be reconciled. If you only enter an account number in the From Account # field, all accounts beginning with that number will be reconciled. If you only enter an account number in the To Account # field, all accounts up to and including that account number will be reconciled.

    Group/Cycle
Optionally, specify the account group that you want to reconcile.
    Subgroup
Optionally, specify the account subgroup that you want to reconcile.
  3. Under Occurrence, select Immediately if you want the reconcile run to start right away, or select Scheduled to schedule the run for later.
  4. If you selected Scheduled, specify the date and time you want the reconcile run to start.
  5. Click Generate Generate button.
Infor Public Sector also adds a Reconcile Run task in the Batch Manager. You can use the Batch Manager Log to check the status of the task.
  6. Click Close to close the dialog box.
Infor Public Sector shows information on the progress of the reconcile run at the bottom of the page, such as the current status and the number of accounts processed so far. While the run is in progress, you can click the Refresh button to update the text under Progress with the most current information.

If you click the Refresh Progress Status button after the reconcile run is complete, Infor Public Sector shows a message that the run has been completed. The message includes the run number and the duration of the process.
