Modifying payment information

If a payment hasn't been posted yet, you can use the Payment InfoViewer to modify the payment information. After a payment is posted, it can no longer be modified.

  1. Load the payment you want into the Payment InfoViewer.
    You access the Payment InfoViewer by clicking the Trace # link for the payment on any form that shows the link.
  2. Click Modify Payment Information.
    The Modify Payment Information link is only displayed if the payment status is empty, meaning the payment hasn't been through the posting process. In the lookup, the Payment Status column in the results grid will be blank. The InfoViewer will show the message "Payment not applied" under Status.
  3. Change the information as required.
  4. Click Save.
