Create Builder Accounts
A builder account is an interim account that is used to bill for services at an address while construction is being completed. The builder is a contact in your database who will be responsible for the bills.
Before you can create builder accounts, you must use Create Address Services to set up services at the account addresses. Infor Public Sector will only create builder accounts for addresses that have at least one builder service, because only builder services can be billed to builder accounts. You can designate services as builder services by selecting the For Builder check box in the service definition.
To create builder accounts, you must first select or add the contact who will be designated as the builder. You can then select the account addresses and generate the accounts. The builder account at each address will remain active until the first owner account is finalized.
