Defining a custom exception code

  1. Select Billing > Setup > Billing > User Exception Code.
  2. In the Exception Codes tree, browse to the node for the type of custom exception code you're creating.
  3. Right-click the Custom node and select Create User Exception.
  4. Type a unique name for the exception code in the Code field.
  5. Type a description of the exception code in the Description field.
  6. Enter the date you can begin using the exception code in the Effective Date field.
  7. In the Calculation field, enter a formula that calculates whether to apply the exception code.
  8. Click Save.
    Infor Public Sector saves the new exception code to your records and adds a node for it under the Custom node.
