Details using agency objects

The Most Common Sources grid in the Create Detail dialog box shows a list of common business object properties that you can select to use for your detail. You can also use the popup button next to the "Other Table" field to select from a more extensive list of properties.

However, neither of these options lets you select properties of agency-defined business objects. If you want to use an agency-defined property for your detail, you can use the Configuration Editor to add the property to the Most Common Sources grid.

The properties in the Most Common Sources grid are defined in the RateTable configuration. Because each module that uses rate tables works with a different set of properties, you will see a node for each module under the RateTable node. For example, the screenshot below shows the default properties that are available for Building Permits rate tables. The settings for the Occupancy Type property are shown in the Attributes fields to the right.

To add your own property, right-click the node for the correct module and select Insert Child Node. For the Moniker attribute, specify the moniker of the business object that contains the property that you want to use. Specify the property in the Node Source attribute. The Display Name attribute specifies the name that is displayed in the Most Common Sources grid.
