Archiving closed and voided accounts
If you select the option to archive closed and voided billing accounts, the task will
archive all accounts with a Closed or Voided
status that meet the task parameters, and all child records of those accounts, with certain
exceptions.
A child record is any record that references the account key of an archived account, such as a bill or a payment arrangement.
These are the exceptions:
- Service requests that are linked to archived accounts are not archived. Instead the account keys are removed from the service request records.
- Accounts that have supervisor overrides among their child records are not archived.
