Viewing GIS information

There are two ways to view attribute information from the geodatabase for selected features in the map.

First, you can right-click an active map marker and then click Show GIS Information in the context menu. A dialog box is displayed that lists all of the GIS attributes for the selected feature.

The other option is to use the Identify All button Identify All button in the toolbar. After clicking this button, click and drag in the map to select the features for which you want to view GIS attributes. You can select features in any of the visible layers. The Feature Information tab is then displayed, listing the layers in which you selected features in a tree structure. Expand the node for each layer to view GIS information for the selected features in that layer.

The GIS attributes that are displayed depend on the type of features that you select. They typically include the FID, the shape, and geographical details such as X and Y coordinates. The attributes may also include URLs, which will automatically be hyperlinked as long as they start with http:// or https://. Hyperlinking for other URL formats is not supported.
