Entering an existing address

When entering an address in Infor Public Sector, you can enter it into the address fields manually, or you can use the Address popup or Select Address dialog box to locate the address you want.

To open the Address popup, click the popup button next to the Street Name field. If you enter information in one or more of the address fields before clicking the popup button, the popup only shows addresses that match that information.

The Select Address dialog box is displayed when you enter partial address information and then advance forward in the current process. For example, the dialog box is displayed when you enter partial address information in the Submit Service Request form and click Next. Like the popup, the dialog box shows the addresses that match the information that you entered. You can then select the address that you want, or you can click Add New Address to create a new one.

If the information that you entered matches only one address in your database, Infor Public Sector fills in the remaining address fields and does not show the Select Address dialog box.
