Setting GIS preferences

You use the Infor GIS preferences to select the queries you want to show in the Map Browser and Map Drawer. Queries are predefined searches that you can use to look up records on the map. You can show queries turned on, meaning that the matching records are loaded and displayed when you open the map, or turned off. If queries are shown turned off, you can turn them on manually from the map.

You can also use the GIS preferences to make the Map Browser your home page. Note that if you replace My Infor with the Map Browser, you must log out and log back in before the change takes effect.

  1. In My Infor, click the My Infor Preferences My Infor Preferences button button.
  2. Click the Infor GIS node.
  3. In the My Queries grid, select each query that you want to show in the map. Infor Public Sector GIS includes a collection of standard queries, and you can also add your own.
  4. To show the queries turned on, click Show turned on.
  5. To show the queries turned off, click Show turned off.
  6. To make the Map Browser your home page rather than My Infor, check Replace My Infor with Map Browser.
  7. Click Save.
