Grid buttons

This table describes each button that can be displayed in a grid in Infor Public Sector. Not all buttons are displayed in all grids.

Toggle Edit Mode

Enables editing in the grid.

Add button Add

Adds a new record to the grid.

Add Existing Attachment button Add Existing Attachment

Used to add an existing attachment to an attachment grid.

Approve button Approve

For grids that use inline editing, the Approve button is used to save your changes. The Approve button is also used to save changes when you reorder the rows in a grid.

Discard button Discard

For grids that use inline editing, the Discard button is used to undo your changes.

Redo button Redo

For grids that use inline editing, the Redo button is used to reapply changes that you previously discarded.

Delete button Delete

Deletes records from the grid.

Grid Settings button Grid Settings

Shows the grid settings menu. The grid settings menu shows these options:

  • Show Filter Row: Shows the filter row, which you can use to filter records in the grid.
  • Column Personalization: Used to select the columns that you want to show in the grid.
  • Reset to Default Layout: Restores the default layout of the grid if the columns have been personalized.
  • Export to Excel: Exports grid data to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
  • Get Full Record Count: Shows the total number of records in the grid.
Filter button Filter Menu

Shows the filter menu, which you can use to either run or clear filters in a grid. This button is only displayed when the grid is showing the filter row.

Reorder Rows button Reorder Rows

In some grids, the Reorder Rows button is displayed in the second column of each row. It can be used to move selected rows up or down in the grid.
