Inspection import validation

Infor Public Sector checks the validity of the inspection data in the Access database before importing it. Inspections with validation errors are shown in the Inspection With Load Erros grids, and cannot be imported until the errors are fixed.

These are the validation checks for existing inspections:

  • Each inspection in the Access database must have an Infor Public Sector inspection ID.
  • The inspection ID in the Access database must match the ID for a corresponding inspection in the Infor Public Sector database.
  • Each inspection in the Access database must be associated with an asset.
  • The asset ID in the Access database must match the ID for the asset associated with the corresponding inspection in the Infor Public Sector database.
  • The asset type of the asset associated with the inspection in the Access database must match the asset type indicated for the import.

These are the validation checks for new inspections:

  • Each inspection in the Access database must have a new inspection ID.
  • The new inspection ID must be unique in the Access database.
  • Each inspection in the Access database must be associated with an asset.
  • The asset ID in the Access database must match the ID for an asset in the Infor Public Sector database.
  • The asset type of the asset associated with the inspection in the Access database must match the asset type indicated for the import.
