Creating an asset group

  1. Select Asset Management > Asset Grouping > Create Asset Group.
  2. Specify a name for the new asset group in the Group ID field.
  3. Type a description of the group in the Description field.
  4. Click Add above the Assets grid.
  5. Enter search criteria at the top of the dialog box to locate the assets that you want to add to the group.
  6. Click Search.
  7. Select the check box for each asset that you want to add to the group.
  8. Click Add Selected.
    You can also click Add All to add all of the assets in the search results.

    Infor Public Sector closes the dialog box and shows the assets that you selected for the asset group. You can change the order of the assets by reordering the records in the grid. The order determines the order in which work orders are generated for the assets in a group project.

    You can also click the Map Drawer button on the toolbar to select the assets for the group from the map.

  9. Click Save.
