Agency access control

This section explains how to set up access control so that you can limit which users have the ability to add, update, and delete agency code definitions.

You can use the Infor Public Sector Schema Manager to create your own code definitions for use in agency detail pages. After the database table and the corresponding business object are created, you can add an edit box to the desired page and bind it to the business object. This connects the detail page to the agency code table, but you must take some additional steps to add access control.

Defining access control for agency code definitions is a three step process.

  1. First, you must create the necessary permissions in Access Control.
  2. Next, using the Page Editor, you will add the access IDs that you created to the code definition fields on your detail pages.
  3. Finally, you must edit the CodeDefAccess configuration to add the access IDs to the code definition tables.
