Sanitizing logs

Directory paths and IP addresses in log entries create a security vulnerability, so you can configure Infor Public Sector to redact this information.

To redact directory paths in log entries, edit the Logging configuration in the Configuration Editor. Add the Sanitize Log Messages attribute to the root Logging node and set the value to True. Instead of directory paths you will see a message in your logs saying "<Redacted Information>."

Note: The Sanitize Log Messages attribute is not available in a multi-tenant environment, because directory paths and IP addresses are always redacted.
