Installing, exchanging, and removing assets

If a work order's activity allows it, you can use the Work Order InfoViewer to install, exchange, or remove installable assets such as water meters. If the work order's asset is not currently installed at an address you can install it. If it has been installed, you can exchange or remove it. Note also that the three actions can be allowed separately in Activity Workflow, so they may not all be available. For example, an activity may allow you to install assets, but not to exchange or remove them.

  1. Load the work order you want into the Work Order InfoViewer.
  2. Select the Summary tab.
  3. In the Quick Links panel, click Install Asset, Exchange Asset, or Remove Asset.
  4. Specify the information required to install, exchange, or remove the asset.
