Transaction Management
An inventory transaction is any activity that affects the quantity of parts in a stock area or location, including issuing parts, receiving shipments, assembling part kits, and transferring parts between stock areas.
When you perform an inventory transaction, Infor Public Sector automatically calculates the number of parts on hand and the cost of the transaction.
The tabs across the top of the Transaction Management page list the types of inventory transactions that you can create. Each tab lists the tasks you can perform for the selected transaction type, such as creating new transactions, returning parts, and looking up transaction records.
