Code violations

The process of adding code violations to an inspection can vary depending on the CDR module and your agency's configuration.

The standard code violation functionality is used for planning, project, use, and license inspections, and for building and case inspections if your agency has not enabled the improved code violation functionality.

See Adding standard code violations.

The improved code violation functionality for building and case inspections provides more detailed information about the locations of code violations. If your agency has enabled this functionality, the process of adding code violations includes some additional steps.

See Adding improved code violations.

Note: The improved code violation functionality requires Android or Windows and Infor Public Sector April 2022 or later in the back office. It is not supported if you are using the iOS version of Infor Field Inspector, or if you are using the app with Infor Public Sector 11.1.
