Routed queries

If a query is routed, such as the Today's Work query, the work assignments are shown in the order in which they are to be completed. On the map, a sequence number is displayed on the marker for each assignment. If you have specified your starting and ending locations, then the route starts and ends at those locations. Otherwise, your agency's default locations are used.

To specify your starting and ending locations, open the Settings page and tap Set Routing Preferences.

See Settings.

A routed query might also include assignments with no location data. If the route is optimized, then assignments without location data are shown at the end of the sequence. You can change the order of your work assignments, including assignments without location data, by dragging and dropping them.

Note: If you change the sequence or the scheduled date of a routed record in the mobile app, you must then synchronize your work records to ensure that the route is displayed properly.

See Synchronizing data.

Routes are created by a Routing task in the Batch Manager in Infor Public Sector. Any records that have not been processed by the Routing task are not displayed as routed in the app. For example, an inspection might have been reassigned, or the user might create a new inspection in the mobile app after a route was created. Such records are not numbered, and are displayed at the bottom of the list, under the numbered records.
