Recording labor usage

If the app is configured to record labor usage, you will see the Labor Cost page when you add time. Use this page to record your own labor usage for an asset inspection, service request, or work order.

  1. Tap the Action button and select Add Time.
  2. Specify the date and time when you started working in the Charge From field.
    If you specified a date and time in the Start Date field, that information is shown automatically. If you're using the timer, and the start date has not already been recorded, this information is captured automatically when you start the timer.
  3. Specify the date and time when you finished working in the To field.
    The To field shows the current date and time by default. The hours and minutes in the Usage field are calculated based on the values in the Charge From and To fields.

    Depending on your system configuration, the usage can also be recalculated if you modify the value in the Charge From or To field. This is controlled by the AutoRecalculateLaborUsage attribute on the Settings node of the Mobile configuration.

  4. Tap Save or Save and Close.
