Resolving conflicts

Your system might be configured to resolve data conflicts automatically, but if manual intervention is required you can use Lookup Sync Audit to resolve conflicts.

A conflict can occur if the same field has been updated in both Infor Public Sector and the GIS since the last synchronization, and if the conflict could not be resolved by the conflict resolution rules. The status of the sync audit will be Data Conflict.

To resolve a conflict you indicate whether you want to use the value in Infor Public Sector or the value in the GIS.

  1. Select System > GIS Synchronization > Sync History > Lookup Sync Audit.
  2. Look up the sync audits for which you want to resolve conflicts.
  3. Select the check box for each conflicted sync audit that you want to resolve.
  4. Click Action and select Sync Audits - Resolve Conflicts.
  5. Select IPS value will override the GIS value or GIS value will override the IPS value.
  6. Click Save.
