Map Drawer access points

Unlike the Map Browser, which is not limited by context, Map Drawer actions are based on the location of the user within Infor Public Sector. The MapDrawer configuration defines the various Map Drawer access points that are available. These access points all use the same GIS data, but each provides a different set of options and commands that are appropriate to the context.

For example, the Map Drawer for the Submit Service Request page can be used to perform actions such as setting the location of a request and viewing nearby work orders, while the Map Drawer for the asset Lookups is used to view assets on a map.

Infor Public Sector GIS includes several standard Map Drawer access points, so you don’t necessarily need to edit the MapDrawer configuration. To personalize your Map Drawer access points you can use this configuration to add queries and commands, change the text displayed in context menus and action buttons, and even add new Map Drawer access points.
