Infor Public Sector field types

The annotation tool has special rules for handling certain attributes if they are present in the annotation service. These fields are used to link annotations to records in the Infor Public Sector database. For example, the combination of an H8MONIKER and an H8KEY can be used to identify a specific record, such as an address or a building permit, and link the annotation to the map marker for that record.

There are two ways to set up Infor Public Sector fields.

  1. If the name of the attribute in the annotation service matches one of the fields listed below, the annotation tool will apply the rules defined for that field type.
  2. If the attribute in the annotation service has a different name, you can specify the field type when you configure the annotation tool in the MapDrawerDatasets configuration.

    See Configuring the annotation tool.

This table lists the fields that you can use to link annotations to records in Infor Public Sector:

Field Description
H8MONIKER The field specifies the moniker of an Infor Public Sector business object.
H8KEY The field specifies the primary key of a record in the Infor Public Sector database. The combination of an H8KEY and an H8MONIKER can be used to identify a specific record.
H8SUBTYPE The field specifies a type of record, such as the application type of a building permit or the request type of a service request. When you configure the annotation tool, you can use the MAPPINGS node to map the H8SUBTYPE to specific properties, depending on the moniker of the record. For example, to map the H8SUBTYPE to a building application type you would specify Hansen.CDR.Building.BuildingApplication as the moniker and map the subtype to the ApplicationType.ApplicationType property.

See Mapping annotation fields.

H8DESCRIPTION The field specifies the description of a record in the Infor Public Sector database.
H8STATUS Used to indicate disabled features.
H8EXPDATE Used to indicate expired features.
