Reports Manager integration

You can create GIS reports in the Infor Public Sector Reports Manager so that Map Browser users can generate reports using spatial data. For example, you might be required to send notification letters to residents within 500 feet of a construction site or a leaky sewer main.

The Reports Manager supports multiple report generating applications such as Crystal Reports and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), in addition to more general office applications such as Microsoft Excel and Word.

  1. Set up the report in the reporting application, such as Crystal.
  2. Select System > Agency Personalization > Reports Manager.
  3. In the Reports tree, select GIS > Map Page.
  4. Define a new report for the Map Page. See the Reports Manager help for details.
  5. After the report is set up, launch the Map Browser and click the Report button. Then select the report that you want to view. The report will prompt for any required parameter values.

This will create the report in the Map Browser and Map Drawer maps which can then be accessed and executed through the Maps icon on the toolbar.

Note: The Parameter Name values are used to pass the key values of the selected markers from the map to the report. These are case sensitive so you must key the letters exactly as they are spelled with regard to upper and lower case letters.

Some parameter name examples are listed below.

    • AddressKeys for addresses on a map
    • ParcelKeys for parcels on a map
    • ServiceRequestKeys for service requests on a map
    • WorkOrderKeys for work orders on a map
