License Workflow

A license type represents one kind of license that your agency handles. It includes information about the licenses conditions, fees, and other supporting information that your agency requires. You also define a license type's milestones, which are important points in a license's licensing process, and the criteria that can halt a license from advancing from one milestone to another.

Infor Public Sector organizes your license information into a tree structure. You can browse through the tree by expanding and collapsing nodes. You can arrange similar license types into license categories to make managing them easier. For example, you might have a category called Construction that contains Electrical, Mechanical, and General Contractor license types. After you've set up the licensing process for a license type, members of your agency can use this information to perform their tasks, such as starting a new license, recording review results, charging and collecting fees, and tracking the progress of a license.
