Field constraint items

This table describes the type of information associated with each constraint item.

Constraint item Description
# Pages The number of pages for a set of submitted plans. This constraint defines the behavior of the # Pages field in applications.
# Plans The number of sets of plans submitted with an application. This constraint defines the behavior of the # Plans field in applications.
A/P Name The name used to further identify the application, in addition to its application number. An application name lets your agency use its own naming conventions to identify an application. This constraint defines the behavior of the A/P Name field in applications.
Applicants Information about the primary and additional applicants associated with an application.

For an application type constraint, you have three options. If you select Default Available, you can record applicant information when starting an application, but it isn't required. If you select Required, a primary applicant is required to start a new application. If you select Display Only, the applicant fields are displayed on the Start Application page but have no effect.

For a milestone constraint, you have four options. If you select Default Available, you can record applicant information in the InfoViewer. If you select Required, either a primary or additional applicant will meet the constraint requirement for the milestone. If you select Display Only, the Change Applicants option is not available from the InfoViewer's Action button. If you select Not Present, no applicant information is displayed in the InfoViewer.

Associated Sites Information about addresses, assets, parcels, or properties that are related to the application in some way. This constraint defines the behavior of the Associated Sites grid in applications.
Calculated Valuation The calculated value of the construction costs on the application as calculated by Infor Public Sector. This constraint determines whether the Calculated Valuation field is display-only or not present in applications.
Declared Valuation The project's construction costs as declared by the applicant. This constraint defines the behavior of the Declared Valuation field in applications.
Description of Work Any additional information about the application. This constraint defines the behavior of the Description of Work field in applications. This field is also displayed as a Comments field on the Job Description tab in the Application InfoViewer.
Job Estimation An estimate of the total cost of the project. This constraint defines the behavior of the Job Estimation field during the Start Application process.
Occupancy Type The code used by the Department of Commerce to classify an application, such as Industrial or Assembly. This constraint defines the behavior of the Occupancy Type field in applications.
Primary Site An address, asset, parcel, or property that an application is created for. This constraint defines the behavior of the Primary Site fields in applications. Note that assets can only be used as sites if the Enable Asset Sites check box is selected in Project System Setup.
Priority The priority level of the application. This constraint defines the behavior of the Priority field in applications.
Square Footage The square footage of the project the application is for. This constraint defines the behavior of the Square Footage field in applications.
Work Type The type of work the application is for. This constraint defines the behavior of the Work Type field in applications.
