Defining an inspection assignment group

  1. Select [CDR module] > Setup > Inspection Assignment Group.
  2. Click Add above the grid.
    A new row is displayed in the grid. In the Object Model column, Infor Public Sector shows the moniker of the application object for the selected module, such as Hansen.CDR.Building.BuildingApplication for Building Permits.
  3. Specify a name for the new assignment group in the Assignment Group field.
  4. In the Properties field, specify the property that you want to use for the assignment group.
    Click the popup button to the right of the Properties field to view the Object Property tree. This tree lists all of the properties available for the object identified in the Object Model column. Browse through the tree to locate the property you want, select it, and click Select.
  5. Specify effective and expire dates if you want to limit when the assignment group will be effective.
  6. Click Save.
    Infor Public Sector adds the assignment group to your records. A node for this assignment group is displayed under every inspection type in the Application Types tree. You and other members of your agency can now define assignments based on this assignment group for any inspection type.
