Inspections

An inspection is an onsite activity, such as a footing inspection or a health inspection, as opposed to a review that is conducted in the office.

Infor Public Sector uses inspection types to define the different kinds of inspections your agency performs, such as mechanical, footing, or roofing inspections. Your agency determines when certain inspections will be required and any fees that will be charged for those inspections. Infor Public Sector then automatically adds the inspections to an application at the appropriate points in its process. Members of your agency can also manually add inspections.

Each inspection can capture as much or as little information as an agency requires, including any code violations found during the inspection and the overall results. If an inspection partially passes, or fails entirely, the system can automatically generate a re-inspection.
