Hearing types

Hearing types define the kinds of meetings, court appearances, and appeals your agency may require for a case, such as a hearing to determine a non-compliance penalty or one to determine the next step in an enforcement process.

Each hearing type is defined for a specific case type. The hearing can then be automatically added to all cases of a particular type or be added to a specific case based on criteria that you define. You use the Hearings node in the Case Types tree to define each hearing type that might be used in a case. You can define when Infor Public Sector will automatically add the hearing to a case by associating a milestone with it. You can also write a formula that determines whether to add the hearing and define status checks that calculate whether to halt the code enforcement process based on the results of the hearing.
