Sending line items to collections

  1. In My Infor, ensure that the Collections Eligible Accounts item is displayed.
  2. In the Collections Eligible Accounts grid, select each account that has line items that you want to send to collections.
  3. Click the down arrow button and select Collect Specific.
    Infor Public Sector shows the Collect Specific Subset dialog box. The Account # field shows the selected account, and the Line Items grid shows the line items for that account that can be sent to collections. If you selected more than one account, the dialog box shows the first selected account. You can use the Next and Previous buttons to scroll to the other accounts. You can also click Remove to remove an account from the list without sending it to collections.
  4. Specify the collections scheme that you want to use in the Collections Scheme field.
  5. In the Line Items grid, select each line item you're sending to collections.
  6. Click Collect.
    Infor Public Sector sends the line items to collections, selecting milestones according to the rules defined for the scheme in Collections Setup. If you selected more than one account, Infor Public Sector then loads the next account in the Collect Specific Subset dialog box. Repeat the steps above until you reach the last account.
