Bill Run Schedule: User exceptions

In addition to the system exceptions that the Bill Run Schedule task returns, you can use User Exception Codes to define your own exceptions. User exceptions define conditions under which the bill generation process will return custom agency-defined exceptions. You can then associate user exceptions with bill types, indicating which exceptions will be considered when each bill type is being generated. When you add an exception to a bill type, you can assign it one of four severity levels:

  • Level 1: Do not create a bill for the account.
  • Level 2: Do not create a line item
  • Level 3: Do not post the bill run
  • Level 4: Do not output the bill run

User exceptions are stored in the CORE.BATCHPROCESSING.USEREXCEPTION table, and displayed on the Exceptions tab of the Bill Run InfoViewer.
