Creating an ad hoc report category

If you have a large number of public ad hoc reports, you can create categories to keep them organized. After you've created categories, you can either add a new report to a selected category or change an existing report's category. Infor Public Sector also adds a permission in Access Control for each report category you create. You must grant users access to the category before they can start adding reports.

  1. Select Resources > Ad Hoc Reporting.
  2. In the Reports tree, right-click the Public Ad Hoc Reports node and select Create a Category.
    You can also right-click an existing category node to create a sub-category.
  3. Type a name for the report in the Category Name field.
  4. Click Save.
