Selecting a map profile

Map layers can be grouped into different profiles to make your agency's GIS data more manageable. For example, a water maintenance supervisor is interested in different geographical information than a building inspector, so each would use a different profile. Layers can belong to multiple profiles, so different profiles might have some layers in common, but each includes a different set of layers overall. Each profile also includes a different set of basemaps.

  1. Click Search & Options.
  2. Click the Layers tab.
  3. Select the profile you want to load from the Profile list.
Infor Public Sector GIS redraws the map and shows the layers defined for the selected profile. The profile is also stored in your user preferences and becomes your personal profile until you select a different one.
