Detail Page Setup

Detail Page Setup is a tool that you can use to add a tab to an asset InfoViewer to track additional information defined by your agency.

For example, you might want to add a Drivers tab to the Vehicle InfoViewer to keep track of who uses a van and record the date and time when each employee used it. You can also write a formula that limits which viewers the tab is displayed on, such as a formula that shows a tab only on viewers for assets with a certain unit type or only for assets whose average monthly usage exceeds 60 hours.

Infor Public Sector organizes your detail page information into a tree structure, with a node for each asset type in your agency's inventory. You can browse through the tree by expanding and collapsing nodes. After you add a detail page to the tree, a tab for that page will be added to the correct asset InfoViewers.

To add controls to existing tabs, use the Content Manager.

The name of the tab will be the text after the final period in the detail page's class name, as displayed in the Name of Detail Page field. For example, if the class name of your detail page is Agency.AssetManagementApplet.Drivers, the name of the tab will be Drivers.
