Recording a performance reading

If the asset for a work order has performance indicators defined for it, you can record performance readings from the work order. A performance indicator is any measurable characteristic that can gauge an asset's performance, such as fuel efficiency for a vehicle. For each indicator you can record a series of performance readings, such as MPG readings for a fuel efficiency indicator.

Note: The Perf Inds tab is displayed only if an asset has been specified for the work order and performance indicators have been assigned to the asset.
  1. Load the work order you want into the Work Order InfoViewer.
  2. On the Perf Inds tab, enable editing in the grid and select the correct performance indicator.
  3. Specify the value of the reading in the Value field.
  4. Specify the date of the performance reading in the Read Date field.
  5. Click Save.
Infor Public Sector adds the performance reading to the asset. If the reading is outside of the asset's normal operating range, as defined in the asset record, Infor Public Sector shows a message indicating this. Depending on the criteria defined for the performance indicator, Infor Public Sector may either create a new work order to correct the problem or open the Create Work Order process so you can create the new work order. You can view a graph of all the performance readings recorded for this asset in the asset's InfoViewer.
