Committing a resource plan

After you’ve finished developing your plan, you can make your planned costs permanent by committing the plan. This will prevent the estimates for your plans from changing as your activity costs change over the years through either inflation or change in work practices. You can only change the planned costs by uncommitting the plan.

  1. Load the plan you want into the Resource Plan InfoViewer.
You access the Resource Plan InfoViewer by clicking the Plan link for the resource plan on any form that shows the link.
  2. Click Action and select Commit Plan.
Infor Public Sector shows a message that the planned costs will be stored and won’t be changed, even if changes are made to the resource plan. The only way to change the planned costs will be to uncommit the plan.
  3. Specify the date that the planned costs will be committed in the Committed Date field.
  4. Click Save.
Infor Public Sector commits the plan and shows the date in the Committed field.
