Recording a parcel notice

You can use the Parcel InfoViewer to record any notices affecting the parcel. A notice is a record of any special conditions affecting a parcel, such as a notice declaring the parcel's location in a historic district or recreational area. A notice can also be a warning served to a parcel about an ordinance violation, such as a zoning violation notice.

  1. Load the parcel record you want into the Parcel InfoViewer.
  2. On the Notices tab, click Add above the grid.
  3. Enter the type of notice in the Notice field.
  4. Enter any other information you have for the notice.
You can type the number of any ordinance specified in the notice. For example, a notice might specify an ordinance that has been violated, such as a zoning ordinance, or a special condition affecting the parcel, such as a city ordinance declaring that the parcel is located in a historic district or recreational area.
  5. Click Save.
