Creating a property record

You can use the Contact and Property Browser to create a record for each property in your municipality. A property record consists of an ID and property type, along with a list of any parcels, addresses, assets, and contacts that are associated with it.

  1. Select Resources > Contact and Property Browser.
  2. Click Action and select Create Property.
    If you've already looked up property records, you can also right-click the root node in the Properties tree and select Create Property .
  3. Specify an identification code for the property in the Property ID field.
  4. Specify any information that you have for the new property.
    You can use Information tab to enter basic identifying information, such as the property name and type. You can use the remaining tabs to associate a parcel, add an address, associate a contact, or add an attachment. To record this information after creating the property, you must edit the property record.
  5. Click Save.
    Infor Public Sector adds the property to your pool of property records, assigns it a version number of 1, and shows it in the Properties tree. You can now edit the property record and add it to other records throughout Infor Public Sector.
