Employees tree nodes

This table describes each node in the Employees tree.
Node Description
Employees (root node) Contains nodes for the departments within your agency. When you click the node, a grid is displayed on the right listing all the employees in your agency.
Department node "Department" Node for a department within your agency. When you click the node, a grid is displayed on the right listing all the employees in that department. This node shows the name of the department. It may contain one or more of these nodes: "Section" and "Employee".
Section node "Section" Node for a section of a department within your agency. When you click the node, a grid is displayed on the right listing all the employees in that section. This node shows the name of the section and contains one or more "Employee" nodes.
Employee node "Employee" Node for an employee within a department or within a section of a department. When you click the node, basic information about the employee is displayed on the right. This node shows the employee's full name and contains these four nodes: Qualifications, Job Classifications, Availability, and Attachments.
Qualifications Node for an employee's job qualifications, such as college degrees, training certificates, or typing speed. When you click the node, a grid is displayed on the right listing the employee's qualifications.
Job Classifications Node for the job classifications assigned to the employee. A job classification is a code, such as Mechanic or Water Operations Supervisor, that describes an employee's duties in your agency. Job classifications can also be used to define tasks and estimate labor costs. When you click the node, a grid is displayed on the right listing the employee's job classifications.
Availability Node for the employee's availability to work at your agency. When you click the node, a grid is displayed on the right listing the times and days of the week that the employee is available to work.
Attachments Node for the attachments that have been added to the employee record, such as a photo of the employee. When you click the node, a grid is displayed on the right listing any files attached to the employee record.
Manage Resources

Node for the various resources that the employee is responsible for managing. The employee can also add, view, and edit these resources using the Resource Manager in Work Management if your agency has purchased that Infor Public Sector product. This node shows these four nodes: Employees, Plant Equipment, Fleet Equipment, and Vehicles.

Employees Node for the employees who are supervised by the employee. When you click the node, a grid is displayed on the right listing the employees. You can click an Employee ID link to load an employee record into the Employee InfoViewer.
Plant Equipment Node for the plant equipment that the employee is responsible for managing. When you click the node, a grid is displayed on the right listing all the plant equipment units that the employee is assigned to. You can click a Plant Equipment ID link to load an equipment unit into the Plant Equipment InfoViewer.
Fleet Equipment Node for the fleet equipment that the employee is responsible for managing. When you click the node, a grid is displayed on the right listing all the fleet equipment units that the employee is assigned to. You can click a Fleet Equipment ID link to load an equipment unit into the Fleet Equipment InfoViewer.
Vehicles Node for the vehicles that the employee is responsible for managing. When you click the node, a grid is displayed on the right listing all the vehicles that the employee is assigned to. You can click a Vehicle ID link to load a vehicle into the Vehicle InfoViewer.
