Cashiering installation error

If you are going to use the installer to install or update the Cashiering device support for Infor Public Sector, there is a hotfix that you must first download from the Infor Support Portal.

The installation package for the January 2022 update has the wrong Logging.dll file, which will cause an error in the installer. The hotfix contains the correct Logging.dll.

The hotfix is attached to KB 2232323 on the Infor Support Portal. Before opening the installer, paste the Logging.dll included in this hotfix into the installation package, replacing the existing one.

Logging.dll is found in the ApplicationFiles\Cashiering\ClientDeviceSupport folder of the Infor Public Sector ISO (for on-premises sites) or the SaaS Toolkit (for multi-tenant sites).

We recommend that you first back up the existing Logging.dll for restore purposes.
