Mobile enhancements

This update includes these enhancements for the Infor Field Inspector mobile app:
  • A horizontal scroll bar has been added to make it easier to move between tabs in the mobile app. If a record viewer has more tabs than can be shown on the screen at one time, the scroll bar is shown below the tabs.

  • Asset performance indicators are now shown for work orders in the mobile app. The Performance Indicators tab is shown in the work order viewer if a work order has one or more performance indicators associated with it. If an asset is performing out of tolerance for that indicator, the user will be prompted to create a work order with the defined activity type.
Note: Performance indicators that are associated with standard work orders are not shown in the mobile app, because standard work orders are not yet supported in Infor Public Sector Mobile.

  • A unit of measure has been added for the Actual Quantity field on the Summary tab of the work order viewer. The unit of measure is shown next to the quantity in the Actual Quantity field, and there is a new popup to update the actual quantity that includes a Unit of Measure field.

  • There is a new option to delete attachments from records in the mobile app. If the current record has attachments, an option to delete attachments is shown when you tap the Attachment button on the Attachments tab.

  • A new optional behavior has been added to immediately open a case inspection when a new case is created in the mobile app. To enable this behavior, open the Mobile configuration and set the OpenInspectionAfterCaseCreation attribute on the Settings node to True. By default, the app opens the new case in the case viewer. If an inspection is added at the time the case is created, you might want the app to open the inspection in the inspection viewer instead.
  • There is a new attribute called GenerateUniqueAttachmentName on the Settings node in the Mobile configuration. By default the value is True, meaning that a unique file name will be auto generated for each attachment uploaded through the mobile app. If you want to keep the original file names of the uploaded attachments, change the value to False.
  • For the iOS version of the mobile app, updates have been made to improve network stability when switching between cellular and wifi connections.
