IMS

IMS is the standard messaging service for communications between all Infor applications in ION. Infor Public Sector can use IMS to send BODs to other applications and to publish data to the Data Lake.

You can use the Messaging configuration to enable IMS for specific BODs. If IMS is enabled for an outbound mapping, it will be used to send that BOD instead of the Infor Public Sector messaging framework.

For now only outbound messaging is supported. Inbound messaging via IMS will be added in a future release.
