Configuring a URL report

A URL report is any report that is addressed by a URL. Note that SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports are also addressed by a URL, but those are treated as a separate report type in Infor Public Sector. The URL report type is used for URL reports other than SSRS.

  1. Select System > Agency Personalization > Reports Manager.
  2. In the Reports tree, browse to the report that you want to edit.
  3. Click the report node.
  4. Specify this information:
    Display Text
Type the name that is displayed for this report when the Reports button is clicked.
    Report Type
    Select URL.
    Report Location
Specify the location of the report.

The report location is the URL that will be opened when a user selects the report. If you select the Use Default URL check box, Infor Public Sector uses the URL that you entered in the Default URL for URL reports field under Global Report Settings. You can also clear the Use Default URL check box and enter a different location in the URL field.

To enter a URL, you can select Enter URL and type in a URL, or you can select Select PreConfigured URL and choose the URL from a drop-down list. The list shows all URLs that have been specified for existing reports in the Reports Manager.

  5. Add parameters to the report as required.
  6. Click Save.
