Out-of-the-box reports

The Reports Manager includes some standard reports that are available out of the box. These reports are displayed in the Reports tree in the Reports Manager, but they are not enabled by default.

You can enable each out-of-the-box report that you want to use by selecting its check box in the Reports tree. The report is then displayed in the Reports menu for the page to which it is attached.

There are three different types of out-of-the-box reports: Birst, IDM document output, and SSRS.

Note: SSRS reports are only supported in an on-premises environment.

To use an out-of-the-box IDM document output report, you must also upload the report template in IDM. The templates to upload are found in the Reports\idm folder in the File Manager. For example, to use the Bill Template report you must upload bill template.docx in the Reports\idm\Billing folder.

There is one particular out-of-the-box IDM document output report that requires some additional configuration. For the Bill Template report (under Infor Reports > Billing > Bills > Bill Information Viewer > Information Viewer) you must create a workflow formula to set the values of some of the parameters that the report uses.
