Purging work data

If you have made changes in the mobile app that you do not want to synchronize to the server, you can purge the work data from the mobile device. You may also need to purge work data if you have pending changes that keep failing to upload to the server. Sometimes the only solution is to purge your local work data, then download the records again and reapply your changes.

  1. In the mobile app, select Synchronize from the menu.
  2. Tap the X Changed Records link.
  3. Tap the Action button and select Purge Records From Device.
    The app shows a warning that all pending changes and local work data will be removed from the device. Note that code definitions and shared resources are not purged.
  4. Tap OK.
