Defining a service request status

You can define your own status codes to use when searching for service requests. For each status code you can select from several different service request statuses, such as Assigned, Started, and Scheduled, and indicate whether you want to search for service requests that have that status, do not have that status, or both. For example you could define an "Overdue" status to search for service requests that have inspections due but are not closed.

  1. Select Customer Service > Service Request > Lookup Service Requests.
  2. To define a service request status, click the popup button next to the Request Status field.

  3. Click Add above the grid.
  4. Type a name for the status code in the Service Request Status field.
  5. Using the drop-down lists, select the service request statuses that you want to search for.
  6. Click Save.
