Application types in Rhythm for Civics

Infor Rhythm for Civics is a cloud-based web portal that customers and members of the public can use to work with applications in Infor Public Sector. When defining an application type, you can enter settings that will be used for that application type in Rhythm for Civics.

Use the Portal Setup tab in the Application Type dialog box to define how an application type is presented in the portal. You can specify these settings:

Show in Portal
Select this check box if you want applications of this type to be shown in Rhythm for Civics.
Is Public
Select this check box to show applications of this type to members of the public. If you don't select this check box, then only customers can see the applications.
Portal Description
In this field you can specify an alternative description of the application type to be displayed in Rhythm for Civics.
Allow Submission
This check box indicates whether applications of this type can be submitted through the portal.
Allow Address as Primary
Indicates whether a portal user can submit an application with an address as the primary site.
Allow Asset as Primary
Indicates whether a portal user can submit an application with an asset as the primary site.
Allow Parcel as Primary
Indicates whether a portal user can submit an application with a parcel as the primary site.
Portal Keywords
Optionally, specify a list of keywords that users can use to search for the application type when submitting an application in the portal.
Portal Assets
If assets are allowed as primary sites, use this grid to specify the asset types that are supported. You must enter one or more asset types if the Allow Asset as Primary site check box is selected.
Portal Instructions
Use this field to provide instructions for submitting applications of this type. The instructions will be displayed for users in the portal site.

Application milestones

For application milestones, you can use the Is Public in Portal check box to show applications at the current milestone to members of the public. Otherwise only customers can see applications at this milestone.

Log generation links

You can use the Log Generation Links node in Application Workflow to define custom links that will be displayed for applications in Rhythm for Civics. Users in the portal site can click these links to add log entries and, optionally, change the status of applications.
