Defining an application category

  1. Select Use Permits > Setup > Application Workflow.
  2. In the Application Types tree, browse to the node in which you want to add a category.
    This can be the root Application Types node or an existing category node.
  3. Right-click the node and select Create Category.
  4. Type a unique name for the new category in the Category Name field.
  5. If the category will be used in Infor Rhythm for Civics, specify this information:
    Portal Order
    Specify the order in which the category will be displayed in Rhythm for Civics.
    Portal Title
    Specify the title that will be used for this category in Rhythm for Civics.
    Portal Description
    Specify the description that will be shown for this category in Rhythm for Civics.
  6. Click Save.
    Infor Public Sector closes the dialog box and shows the new category in the Application Types tree. You can now define application types for this category. You can also define subcategories by following the current instructions.
