Application Types tree nodes

Node Description
Application Types (root node) Contains nodes for the application categories and application types that your agency uses.
"Application Category" node

"Application Category"

Node for a category of application types. Application categories help you organize related application types. For example, you might have a category called Commercial that contains application types for shopping malls or business parks. This node shows the category name. It may contain one or more of these nodes: "Application Category" and "Application Type".
"Application Type" node

"Application Type"

Node for an application type that your agency uses. This node shows the name of the application type. It contains these two nodes: Activities and Fees and Milestones.
Activities and Fees Node for detailed information about an application type. This node contains these nine nodes: Inspections, Reviews, Conditions, Fees, Constraints, Code Violation Groups, Status Codes, Details, and Hearings.
Milestones Node for the milestones that an application type uses in its planning process. When you select this node, a grid is displayed on the right listing all of the milestones for the parent application type. You can use the grid to add and edit milestones. This node may contain one or more child "Milestone" nodes.
Milestone node

"Milestone"

Node for a milestone for an application type. This node shows the name of the milestone. It contains these eight nodes: Inspections, Reviews, Conditions, Fees, Constraints, Details, Status Checks, and Hearings.
Inspections Node for the inspection types defined for an application type or associated with a milestone. When you click this node under Activities and Fees, a grid is displayed on the right listing all the inspection types for the application type. When you click this node under "Milestone", a grid is displayed on the right listing all the inspection types for that milestone.
Reviews Node for the review types defined for an application type or associated with a milestone. When you click this node under Activities and Fees, a grid is displayed on the right listing all the review types for the application type. When you click this node under "Milestone", a grid is displayed on the right listing all the review types for that milestone.
Conditions Node for the condition types defined for an application type or associated with a milestone. When you click this node under Activities and Fees, a grid is displayed on the right listing all the condition types for the application type. When you click this node under "Milestone", a grid is displayed on the right listing all the condition types for that milestone.
Fees Node for the fee types associated with an application type or milestone. When you click this node under Activities and Fees, a grid is displayed on the right listing all the fee types for the application type. When you click this node under "Milestone", a grid is displayed on the right listing all the fee types for that milestone. This node contains these four nodes: Standard, At Cost, Initial Deposit, and Additional Deposit.
Initial Deposit Node for the initial deposit fee types associated with an application type or milestone. An initial deposit fee is a fee that is charged to an application to create a deposit account from which certain inspection and review fees, known as at cost fees, can be paid. When you click this node under Activities and Fees, a grid is displayed on the right listing all the initial deposit fees types for the application type. When you click this node under "Milestone", a grid is displayed on the right listing all the initial deposit fee types for that milestone.
Additional Deposit Node for the additional deposit fee types associated with an application type or milestone. An additional deposit fee is a fee that is charged to an application when its deposit account gets too low to pay at cost fees. When you click this node under Activities and Fees, a grid is displayed on the right listing all the additional deposit fees types for the application type. When you click this node under "Milestone", a grid is displayed on the right listing all the additional deposit fee types for that milestone.
At Cost Node for the at cost fee types associated with an application type or milestone. An at cost fee is a fee that is charged to an application based on the duration of a review or inspection, such as a $45 fee for a three-hour review. At cost fees are paid using a deposit account established for the application. When you click this node under Activities and Fees, a grid is displayed on the right listing all the at cost fees types for the application type. When you click this node under "Milestone", a grid is displayed on the right listing all the at cost fee types for that milestone.
Standard Node for the standard fee types associated with an application type or milestone. Standard fees are all fees that are not defined as deposit or at cost, such as filing, handling, or code violation fees. When you click this node under Activities and Fees, a grid is displayed on the right listing all standard fee types for the application type. When you click this node under "Milestone", a grid is displayed on the right listing all the standard fee types for that milestone.
Constraints Node for the constraint items configured for the application type or the milestone. When you click this node under Activities and Fees, a grid is displayed on the right listing all the configurable constraints for the application type. When you click this node under "Milestone", a grid is displayed on the right listing all the configurable constraints for that milestone.
Details Node for the details defined for an application type. This node contains these four nodes: Application, Inspection, Review, and Hearing.
Application Node for the application details defined for an application type. When you click this node under Activities and Fees, a grid is displayed on the right listing all the application details for the application type. When you click this node under "Milestone", a grid is displayed on the right listing all the application details for that milestone.
Inspection Node for the inspection details defined for an application type. When you click this node under Activities and Fees, a grid is displayed on the right listing all the inspection details for the application type. When you click this node under "Milestone", a grid is displayed on the right listing all the inspection details for that milestone.
Review Node for the review details defined for an application type. When you click this node under Activities and Fees, a grid is displayed on the right listing all the review details for the application type. When you click this node under "Milestone", a grid is displayed on the right listing all the review details for that milestone.
Hearing Node for the hearing details defined for an application type. When you click this node under Activities and Fees, a grid is displayed on the right listing all the hearing details for the application type. When you click this node under "Milestone", a grid is displayed on the right listing all the hearing details for that milestone.
Code Violation Groups Node for the violation groups that contain the code violations for the reviews and inspections that an application type uses. This node contains an Inspections node and a Reviews node.
Inspections Node for the inspection types associated with a violation group. Associating an inspection type with a violation group makes all of the group's code violations available to the inspection type. When you click this node, a grid is displayed on the right listing all the inspection type/violation group associations for the application type.
Reviews Node for the review types associated with a violation group. Associating a review type with a violation group makes all of the group's code violations available to the review type. When you click this node, a grid is displayed on the right listing all the review type/violation group associations for the application type.
Status Checks Node for the status checks defined for a milestone. When you click this node, a grid is displayed on the right listing all the status checks for that milestone.
